Terms of Submitting a Listing on SAMAK EXPO B2B SEAFOOD CLASSIFIED MARKETPLACE

Welcome to SAMAK EXPO, your trusted B2B platform for the seafood and maritime industries. By participating in our marketplace, you agree to abide by the following terms, which are designed to create a transparent, fair, and legal environment for all users.

1. Listing Guidelines

Regular Listings per Page: 12
Featured Listings per Page: 4
Related Listings per Page: 3

Enable Gallery Preview: Yes

Submission and Moderation

Submission: Vendors are allowed to submit new listings related to seafood products and services.
Moderation: All new listings will be manually reviewed and approved to ensure they meet our standards for quality, legality, and relevance.
Reporting: Users can report listings that they believe violate our terms or contain inaccurate information.

Expiration and Storage

Expiration Period: Listings will expire after 90 days and will be moved to the archive. Users must renew their listings to keep them active.
Storage Period: After 180 days, archived listings will be deleted, requiring users to create new listings with updated pictures and information. This ensures that our marketplace remains attractive, current, and engaging for buyers.

Featuring

Featuring Period: Listings can be featured for a period of 10 days.
Packages: We offer both Free and Premium packages for vendors, providing flexibility and enhanced visibility for your listings.

2. Moderation of Claims and Reviews

Claims: Any claims made on listings will be manually approved to verify accuracy.
Reviews
- Submission: Users can submit multiple reviews on listings.
- Moderation: We manually review all submissions to ensure fairness and honesty.
- Replies: Vendors are allowed to respond to reviews.
- Negative Reviews: In the case of a negative review, we will first contact the vendor to understand the situation and then reach out to the buyer for further evidence. Our goal is to ensure that all reviews are honest and based on real experiences. Listings with unresolved negative reviews may be removed after 15 days if the vendor does not respond.
- Positive Reviews: Positive reviews that appear to be honest and genuine will be published immediately.

3. Legal Compliance and Honesty

Honesty in Listings: All listings must be truthful, accurate, and legal. The seafood industry is closely monitored for illegal activities, and we strictly prohibit the use of our marketplace for trafficking, illegal trading, or any other unlawful behavior.
Legal Compliance: Vendors are responsible for ensuring that their products and services comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

4. Messaging and Privacy

Attachments: Users are allowed to attach files to messages, but only in PDF format.
Privacy: We respect your privacy. We do not monitor conversations between users, ensuring 100% confidentiality in your communications.
Storage Period: Messages and attachments will be stored for 365 days.
Reviewing Your Privacy Policy: Users are encouraged to regularly review our Privacy Policy to understand how their data is handled, stored, and protected on our platform.

5. Security

ReCAPTCHA: Our website uses ReCAPTCHA to protect against bots and unauthorized access, ensuring a secure browsing experience for all users.

6. Intellectual Property

Intellectual Property Rights: Vendors retain all rights to the images, listings, and other content they upload to SAMAK EXPO. However, by submitting content to the marketplace, you grant SAMAK EXPO a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and promote your content on the platform.
Protection of Images: Vendors are responsible for protecting their intellectual property. We recommend adding watermarks, such as a business card, logo, phone number, or any other identifiable mark, to images before uploading them. This helps safeguard your content from unauthorized use by other vendors or third parties.
Respect for Intellectual Property: All users must respect the intellectual property rights of others. [Your Marketplace Name] is not liable for any infringement that occurs on the platform. If you believe your intellectual property rights have been violated, please report the issue to us immediately for investigation.

7. User-Generated Content Removal

Content Removal: SAMAK EXPO reserves the right to remove any user-generated content, including listings, images, and reviews, that violate our terms of service, community guidelines, or any applicable laws. This includes content that is deemed offensive, false, misleading, or infringing on the rights of others.
DMCA Takedown Policy: If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed upon by content on our platform, you may submit a DMCA takedown request. We will investigate and, if necessary, remove the infringing content. Vendors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with copyright laws to avoid unintentional infringements.
